Ingredients :
300 gr whole wheat flour200 gr quick cooking oats
11 gr (1 sachet) instant yeast
100 gr sugar
275 ml fresh milk
60 gr butter / margarine
a pinch of salt
Filling :
Choco block + cheese spread, softenedBeef sausages + chili sauce
Spread :
1 tbsp butter / margarin, melted1 tbsp milk powder
1 tbsp water
Directions :
· In a large bowl, combine flour, oats, yeast, & sugar. Mix thoroughly.
· Gradually add fresh milk, mix thoroughly together with margarine & salt until smooth. (Or, add all ingredients to bread machine pan in order recommended by the manufacturer). Place dough in a greased bowl, and turn several times to coat. Cover with a damp cloth. Allow to rise until doubled.
· Punch down the dough, let it rest a few minutes. Divide dough into 40 grams each parts. Fill each dough with choco cheese spread or chilli sausages.
· Place in greased bun / sweet bread pans. Let sponge rise until almost doubled in size (60-75 minutes). Spread with combined melted margarine, milk powder & water.
· Bake at 170 deg.C for 20 minutes. The loaves may need to be covered for the last few minutes with foil to prevent excess browning.
